The Smoke Rise Village Inn, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Smoke Rise community of Kinnelon, has long been thought of as a private dining facility able to only be used by its residents.  What most don’t know is that the Inn is not only open to the public but that the food and service are second to none.  The historic stone building which houses the Inn dates back to 1892 when it was originally used as a dairy barn.  Featuring a lovely cobblestone courtyard, and country gardens and has gained award-winning notoriety for its first-class service and fine cuisine.

A recipient of the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award given by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, the Smoke Rise Village Inn is proud to be one of only a few facilities in New Jersey to have that distinction.  Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Joseph Bottani, he and his team continue to impress and exceed the expectations of those who pass through our doors.

Smoke Rise Inn Events

In addition to a la carte dining, weddings, showers, and bar and bat mitzvahs, the Inn offers a multitude of Special Events throughout the year. Specialty brunches such as Easter, Mother’s Day, and Brunch with Santa in December are highly anticipated and always sell-out events.

The Inn’s Wine Makers dinners are another opportunity to sample the best cuisine and wine the Inn has to offer. Most recent dinners have featured the wineries of Cakebread, Stag’s Leap, Chimney Rock, and Nicolas Feuillatte. Scotch and Bourbon tasting, Craft Beer Dinners, and Port and Cigar nights are all regular monthly events.

Themed events such as Oktoberfest, Cinco de Mayo, Feast of San Gennaro, and St. Patrick’s Day are also favorites for many who frequent the Smoke Rise Inn. Come experience for yourself all that the Smoke Rise Inn has to offer.
